Notice of 2022 Salary Adjustment for Full-Time Faculty and Staff

Dear faculty,

The following resolution was passed at the 2nd meeting held by the 18th-term Board of Trustees on June 23, 2022: A salary adjustment will be made for full-time faculty, contract faculty, and full-time staff (including contract staff). The resolution shall come into effect retroactive to January 1, 2022.

In this instance, an adjustment of 4% raise will be made to the base salary and academic research allowance or work allowance for full-time faculty and staff. They shall receive back pay covering six months in July 2022 only if they are in service in July (excluding faculty applying for position retained without pay).

In July 2022, the additional insurance premium and partially charged Civil Service Pension Fund will be withheld from the pay. On the website of the Personnel Office, you will find the most recent insurance premium and the Civil Service Pension Fund chart. (Click here to read more)
